An antique Persian Sarouk oriental rug, size 16'5" x 12'1", circa 1920. This lovely hand-knotted wool rug features an intricate floral design in the soft red central field, and is enclosed within a navy blue border.

Finely woven, with short wool pile and a soft feel. The rug is composed of wool pile on a cotton foundation, and is in very good condition for its age, weaving style, and composition, with full, thick pile, and barely any wear or fading.
